Pressure sensor is a device that measures gas or liquid pressure and converts it into an electrical signal. The pressure sensor is used in industrial, automotive, medical and consumer applications to control pressure levels. Types of pressure sensors are divided into four types: piezoelectric, capacitive, resistive and optical. They are also classified according to their application, which include: absolute pressure sensors, pressure gauge sensors and differential pressure sensors.
