The device that supplies the main energy to the compressor and causes the compressor to start and produce compressed air is called an electric motor.
In principle, the electric motor produces air in the compressor by transferring electrical energy to mechanical energy and its direct connection with the air conditioner unit. In principle, all the work of the internal components of a compressor is dependent on the energy supplier, it means the electric motor. The electromotor is made of copper coil, which increases the life of the device.
Electric motors are divided into five types of single-phase, three-phase, linear, stepped and universal models.
In this model, a stator coil is used and it works with a single-phase alternating power supply, and when the motor is connected to a single-phase power supply, the main coil has an alternating current.
The three-phase electric motor uses the phase difference between the phases of the multi-phase electric power supply to create a rotating electromagnetic field inside them. Rotors consist of a number of conductors embedded in steel. Through electromagnetic induction, a current is induced in the rotating magnetic field of these conductors, which results in the creation of a balancing magnetic field, which causes the axis of the electromotor to move in the direction of the rotation of the field.
3. LinearIt is an electric motor that is changed from rotating to produce a linear force by creating a traveling electromagnetic field along its length instead of producing a rotational torque. In other words, a linear electric motor is a motor whose stator and rotor have a linear and rectangular shape, and it is not rotating like other electric motors, and the magnetic force in these electric motors is linear and occurs along the length of the stator, and it also does not rotate. In these electric motors, the stator is called the primary part and the rotor is also called the secondary part.
In this model, an internal rotor, including permanent magnets, is controlled by a group of magnets with external electronic control, which in ordinary electric motors, the stator body has a magnet. But in the stepped model, the body of the stator is made of several electromagnets that are turned on or off individually. The magnets are facing each other in pairs and usually a pair of facing magnets is turned on or off.
The universal motor is able to work on both AC and DC power. This motor is a combination series that uses an electromagnet as a stator to create a magnetic field.
